Privacy & Terms

Last updated: 2026

The short version: your birth details and reflections stay on your device. We don't sell anything about you, and this is a tool for reflection — never prediction or professional advice.

Privacy

What we collect

To create your readings, Hairstrology asks for your first name, birth date, birth time, and birth place. As you use the app you may also create daily check-ins, reflections, journal entries, and saved charts.

Where it lives

All of that information is stored locally in your own browser or device (in local storage). It is not uploaded to or stored on our servers — we can't see it, and we don't have a copy. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, it's gone. Because it lives on one device, it doesn't automatically move between your phone and computer.

When you search for a birth place, the city name you type is sent to a mapping service (such as Open-Meteo or OpenStreetMap) to look up its coordinates and time zone. No name or personal identity is attached to that lookup.

What we don't do

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible) to understand how many people use Hairstrology and whether features are helpful. These tools do not use invasive cookies and do not collect your birth details or personal reflections.

Other people's charts

If you look up or save someone else's chart (for example, a client), please make sure you have their consent first. Their birth information is personal to them.

Age

Hairstrology is intended for people 18 and older.
