Your chart

Your Chart

A gentle reminder before you begin: there's no rush, and nothing to memorize. Hairstrology is something you keep learning — let it unfold slowly, and simply notice how each piece quietly shows up in your real, day-to-day life. Read a little, live with it, and come back. You're meant to grow into this, not master it overnight.

New to your chart? Start here

Never read a birth chart before? Here's the whole idea in five words. A birth chart is a snapshot of the sky at the exact time (when) and place (where) you were born. Astrologers read that snapshot to describe who you are, what each part of you tends to do, and why you move through life the way you do. It's a mirror for reflection — never a rule about who you are. Here's the language in a minute:

Planets are the what — parts of you. Sun = identity, Moon = emotions, Mercury = mind, Venus = love, Mars = drive, and so on.
Signs are the how — the flavor a planet expresses through (bold Aries, steady Taurus, dreamy Pisces…).
Houses are the where — the area of life a planet shows up in (1st = self, 7th = relationships, 10th = career…).
The Big Three — Sun (core self), Moon (inner world), Rising (how you meet the world) — are the fastest snapshot of you.
Aspects are conversations between planets: easy (trine, sextile), blended (conjunction), or growth-friction (square, opposition).
Elements & modes — Fire / Earth / Air / Water and Cardinal / Fixed / Mutable — show your overall temperament.
Retrograde (℞) means a planet's energy turns inward — you tend to process it privately first.
Degrees are where in a sign a planet sits (each sign is 0–29° wide). Early = fresh; late (25–29°) = mature or completing. No need to memorize them.
Stelliums are 3+ planets clustered close together (in one sign, one house, or tightly conjunct) — a concentrated powerhouse that strongly shapes who you are.
Transits are where the planets are right now, and how today's sky is touching your chart.

Take what resonates, leave what doesn't. This is a tool for reflection and self-discovery — you are always more than your chart.

The Big Three

Your beauty signature

How you show up behind the chair — your chart, translated into your gift as a hairstylist. This is where self-discovery becomes your craft.

Your business behind the chair

Three focused readings on the work itself — how you earn, how you sell, and the voice and power you bring to the chair. Drawn from your own chart, to help you build a craft that pays you well without burning you out.

Behind the chair: gentle watch-outs

None of this is a flaw — it's the cost of caring deeply. Knowing your own patterns is how you protect your energy, set kinder boundaries, and keep the chair a safe place for you, too. Read with self-compassion.

Your energy & recovery

You spend your days regulating other people's feelings. This is how to protect and refill your own — the heart of staying in this work without burning out.

Boundary & consultation scripts

The words you were never taught — kind, clear phrases you can actually say out loud, tuned to your natural voice. Steal them, soften them, make them yours.

Your affirmations

Truths drawn from your own chart, in your own voice. Read them aloud, keep one for the week, or pass one to someone who needs to hear it. You are allowed to believe these.

The moon you were born under

Beyond your Moon sign, the phase of the Moon at your birth colors your whole emotional nature — how you begin things, how you feel them, and how you process.

Your birth chart

The sky exactly as it was at your first breath. The Ascendant sits on the left; planets are placed by degree, with the major aspects drawn through the center.

Placements

BodySignPosHouse

A quick word on degrees (the “Pos” column): each sign is 30° wide (0°–29°), and the degree is simply where a planet sits within its sign. Early degrees (0–5°) feel fresh and new; late degrees (25–29°) feel mature, urgent, or like a lesson that's completing — 29° most of all. No need to memorize them: degrees are mainly how the angles between planets (aspects) and your house lines are measured.

Every placement, decoded

Each planet, sign, and house is a different facet of you. Read these as mirrors, not verdicts — prompts for self-discovery and for living more fully as your true self.

Element & modality balance

How your energy is distributed — the raw material of your temperament. A strong element is a strength you lean on; a quiet one is an invitation, not a flaw.

Elements

Modalities

Your energy balance

Every chart blends two energies — projective (yang) and receptive (yin). This is the mix you naturally lead with, and what it can mean for the looks that feel most like you.

Your stelliums

A stellium is a cluster of three or more planets gathered in one sign or house — a concentrated powerhouse of energy that strongly shapes who you are. Here's what yours means.

Your beauty signature

Your whole chart, translated into your relationship with your hair — what you value, how you handle change, your upkeep, your taste, your spend, and how you most love to be cared for in the chair.

Your chart signatures

The standout patterns — the themes that define your chart and point most directly toward your authentic path.

A tour of your twelve houses

The twelve areas of life. Even empty houses are read — through the sign on the cusp and the planet that rules it — so no part of your life is left out.

Aspects

The conversations between your planets — where parts of you support each other, and where they create the productive friction that makes you, you.

Conjunction — two planets sitting together. Their energies blend and intensify into one force.
Sextile — an easy, supportive angle. A natural talent or opportunity, if you choose to use it.
Square — friction and tension. The productive challenges that push you to grow.
Trine — a flowing, harmonious angle. Gifts that come easily, almost too easily.
Opposition — a tug-of-war. Two needs pulling opposite ways, asking you to find balance.

Focused readings

Three lenses that gather the most relevant placements into one view — for the questions people most often carry into the chair.

The current sky

Where the planets are right now, and what they're touching in your chart today. This is the portal's living layer — it changes every time you return.

☽ Your current chapter

The transits below are your present weather. Astrology's gift here isn't prediction — it's permission to honor your own timing: when to push, when to rest, and when to let something end so the next thing can begin.

What the sky is touching in you

Lunar hair calendar — best days to cut

A time-honored ritual: align cuts with the Moon. Waxing for growth, the Full Moon for strength, waning to keep a shape longer. Your upcoming windows:

Cutting by the Moon is traditional beauty lore, not science — a beautiful ritual to share with clients, never a guarantee.
